Nothing can hinder development of Russian-Saudi relations: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in the unimpeded progress of relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia during a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh.

Emphasizing their continuous efforts in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres, Putin described the bond between the two nations as 'stable and very good.'
'While on a planned visit to the UAE in the region, I gladly accepted your invitation to meet and strengthen the ties we've been nurturing for the past seven years,' Putin conveyed to the Saudi Crown Prince.
He highlighted the importance of exchanging information and perspectives on regional affairs, characterizing their meeting as opportune. Additionally, Putin mentioned plans for bin Salman to visit Moscow, albeit adjustments were made due to circumstances. He extended an invitation for their next meeting to take place in Russia, which the Saudi Crown Prince accepted.
Bin Salman acknowledged Putin as a 'special guest' of the kingdom, underscoring the shared interests between Russia and Saudi Arabia. He pointed out their joint endeavors towards fostering stability and development, not only within the Middle East but also on a global scale.
Prior to his meeting with bin Salman, Putin engaged in discussions with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates, during a brief regional visit to the Gulf in Abu Dhabi.
