Russia on Saturday announced the end of a trilateral navy exercise with China and Iran in the Arabian Sea.
The participants on March 16-17 worked out forming an international 'squad of ships' in a designated area, and joint maneuvering with different kinds of formations, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The Chinese, Iranian and Russian sailors were also trained on situations demanding liberation of a captured vessel with hostages, and providing help to a ship in a difficult situation in open sea.
