China ready to work with the new govt of Bangladesh
China congratulated Bangladesh for the successful holding of the 12th parliamentary election and felicitated PM Sheikh Hasina for winning the election.
China affirmed its commitment to collaborate with Bangladesh's new government to uphold the enduring friendship between the two nations, as stated by its spokesperson on January 9.
The spokesperson emphasized China's dedication to advancing 'high-quality' Belt and Road collaboration and fostering increased advancements in the China-Bangladesh Strategic Partnership of Cooperation.

In a regular briefing held in Beijing, Mao Ning, Spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reiterated China's stance as a friendly and proximate neighbor of Bangladesh. Mao Ning firmly reiterated China's support for Bangladesh in executing its political agendas in accordance with its laws post-election.
