Chinese FM to visit Myanmar, India this week
Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang will visit Myanmar and India from May 2-5, China's Foreign Ministry said today.
Foreign Minister Qin Gang will be in India for a meeting of foreign ministers from the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation grouping, the ministry added in a brief statement.
During his Myanmar visit, Foreign Minister Qin Gang said local Communist Party and government departments, the People's Liberation Army, police and civilian bodies should join in 'strengthening the border defense system.'
