Trump clashes repeatedly with judge in heated New York testimony

Former us president Donald Trump found himself in repeated clashes with a judge as he vigorously defended his family's business while testifying in a civil fraud trial in New York.

During his nearly four-hour testimony on the witness stand, the former president vehemently contested allegations that he had deceived banks and openly expressed his grievances regarding the ongoing case.
The presiding judge had previously determined that the Trump Organization had engaged in fraudulent activities, and the current trial aims to establish the appropriate penalties for these actions.
Prosecutors are advocating for a hefty 250 million dollar (£202 million) fine and stringent business constraints.
During his much-anticipated appearance at a Manhattan federal courthouse on Monday, the 77-year-old Trump was questioned about the valuation of various properties, including his Florida estate Mar-a-Lago, Trump Tower in New York, and his golf course in Scotland.
These properties are at the center of allegations made by prosecutors, who assert that they were intentionally overvalued in company documents to secure more favorable loans and insurance policies.
