South Korea dismisses 4 military commanders over martial law declaration
South Korean authorities on Monday dismissed at least four senior military commanders from their positions over last month's short-lived martial law decree by impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol, Yonhap news reported.
Lt. Gen. Yeo In-hyung, head of the Defense Counterintelligence Command; Maj. Gen. Moon Sang-ho, head of the Defense Intelligence Command; Lt. Gen. Lee Jin-woo, head of the Capital Defense Command; and Lt. Gen. Kwak Jong-keun, chief of the Army Special Warfare Command, were dismissed from their positions, according to Defense Ministry.
