Pakistan army gave cover fire for baramulla infiltrator, says Indian army
The Pakistan Army gave cover fire to one of the three terrorists trying to enter India through the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri, Baramulla district. Indian security forces neutralised all three infiltrators on Saturday.
The Indian Army said it received intelligence inputs suggesting terrorist groups were planning to cross the LoC to come into India. To counter this threat, anti-infiltration and surveillance measures in the area were strengthened, and ambushes were strategically placed to prevent the infiltration.
