Pakistan defence minister seeks stronger ties with Bangladesh

Pakistan’s defence minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has emphasized the longstanding bonds between the peoples of Pakistan and Bangladesh, expressing a strong desire to enhance bilateral ties.
Speaking at a reception on Friday in honor of Bangladesh’s 54th National and Independence Day, hosted by Bangladesh High Commissioner Muhammad Iqbal Hussain Khan and his spouse Roushan Naheed, Asif highlighted the mutual efforts underway to strengthen economic, political, and cultural cooperation between the two nations.
"We deeply value our relationship with Bangladesh and are eager to broaden collaboration across various sectors," Asif said, as reported by Geo News.
The minister praised Bangladesh’s remarkable achievements in socio-economic development and pointed to the shared historical and cultural connections as a foundation for further deepening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
