27 insurgents killed in operation in Pakistan's Balochistan
Twenty-seven terrorists were killed in a military operation in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the military said on Monday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media arm of the Pakistan Army, stated that the operation was carried out in the Kacchi district based on intelligence inputs.
'Security personnel skillfully encircled the terrorists' position and engaged them effectively. Following a fierce exchange of gunfire, 27 militants were eliminated,' the ISPR reported.
In addition to eliminating the insurgents, multiple hideouts were destroyed during the operation. Authorities also seized significant stockpiles of arms, ammunition, and explosives, according to the ISPR statement cited by Xinhua.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the peace, stability, and development of Balochistan, vowing to thwart any attempts to destabilize the region.
