'Made in Bangladesh' expo on June 15-18 in Brazil

Brazil Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BBCCI) is set to host the first-ever Made in Bangladesh Exhibition-2025 on June 15-18 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The event aims to showcase Bangladeshi products, expand export opportunities, diversify markets, and foster trade and networking in Latin America, with a particular focus on Brazil.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at Hotel Ascot Palace in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Brazil’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, Paulo Fernando Dias Feres, highlighted the importance of the initiative, saying, 'The Made in Bangladesh Exhibition-2025 marks a pivotal moment in enhancing the relationship between Brazil and Bangladesh. This event offers businesses a platform to display their expertise and establish meaningful partnerships. I am confident it will strengthen mutual understanding and open new avenues for economic cooperation.'
The ambassador also emphasized the potential of the expo to enhance connectivity and cooperation between the two nations, fostering not only trade but also investment opportunities.
BBCCI Secretary General Md Joynal Abdin described the event as a vital link between cultural and commercial exchange. 'With bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Brazil reaching $2.53 billion in 2022, there is immense potential for growth. This expo serves as an opportunity to explore synergies, such as integrating Bangladesh’s jute industry with Brazil’s sustainability goals and leveraging Brazilian industrial equipment to support Bangladesh’s industrial growth,' he said.
The expo is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening economic ties and creating new opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.
