India keen to work with Bangladesh interim government
Indian ambassador Pranay Verma expressed India's interest in strengthening its relationship with Bangladesh under the newly established interim government led by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
'We are keen on developing our relationship with Bangladesh,' ambassador Verma stated to the press after his meeting with Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain at the ministry on August 14.
This meeting represents the first official engagement between the Indian high commissioner and the foreign affairs adviser since the establishment of the interim government, which assumed power following the ousting of the Awami League administration.
