Pakistan begging before the world while India eeached Moon: Nawaz Sharif

Pakistan's self-exiled former premier Nawaz Sharif has said that his country is begging money from the world while India has reached the moon and hosted the G20 summit, blaming the country's ex- generals and judges for its economic mess.

In recent years, Pakistan's economy has faced significant challenges, leading to mounting hardships for its citizens due to skyrocketing inflation. Sharif's remarks underscore the urgency of addressing these economic woes.
Speaking via video link during a party meeting in Lahore, Sharif posed a question: 'Today, Pakistan's prime minister travels from one country to another, seeking financial assistance, while India has achieved remarkable feats such as lunar exploration and hosting the G20 summit. Why has Pakistan not been able to match India's accomplishments, and who should be held responsible for this?'
Nawaz Sharif went on to draw a comparison with India's economic progress. He cited the example of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's tenure, during which India had a meager one billion dollars in foreign exchange reserves. Sharif noted that India's foreign exchange reserves have now soared to an impressive 600 billion dollar. This significant growth highlights India's economic stability and global influence.
Sharif's comments are particularly significant as he declared his intention to return to Pakistan on October 21, signaling his active involvement in leading his political party's campaign in upcoming elections. This decision marks the end of his over four-year self-imposed exile in the UK.
Nawaz Sharif's statements underscore the economic challenges facing Pakistan and the need for comprehensive measures to stabilize the country's financial situation. His remarks also draw attention to India's notable achievements in various spheres, emphasizing the importance of addressing economic issues to ensure Pakistan's continued development and prosperity.
