UN secretary general Guterres to visit Bangladesh on March 13-16
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres is set to visit Bangladesh from March 13 to 16 following an official invitation from Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.
The Bangladesh's Foreign Ministry confirmed the visit today, citing an official statement from the UN Secretary-General's Office.
The invitation was personally delivered by Khalilur Rahman, the chief adviser's high representative for the Rohingya issue and other key matters, during his meeting with Guterres in New York on February 7.
