Bangladeshi migrant dies in Israeli attack in Lebanon's Beirut

A Bangladeshi migrant worker Mohammed Nizam has died in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut, Lebanon. According to the Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut, the attack targeted the Hazmieh neighborhood on Saturday evening.

Nizam, aged 31, lost his life instantly around 3:30 p.m. local time while stopping at a coffee shop on his way to work. This marks the first reported death of a Bangladeshi migrant in the ongoing Israel-Lebanon conflict.
Originally from Kharera in Kasba Upazila, Brahmanbaria, Nizam was the son of Mohammed Abdul Quddus and Mst Anowara Begum.
Bangladesh's Ambassador to Lebanon, Air Vice Marshal Javed Tanveer Khan, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss, honoring Nizam's contributions as a migrant worker.
