Touhid and Jaishankar discuss Dhaka-Delhi bilateral ties in New York
Bangladesh's Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain has met Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and discussed issues of mutual interest.
The meeting, which took place on Monday, September 23, centered on strengthening the relationship between Bangladesh and India.
Following the discussion, Jaishankar shared on X (formerly Twitter), "Had a productive meeting with Bangladesh's Foreign Affairs Adviser, Md Touhid Hossain, this evening in New York. We had an engaging conversation focused on enhancing our bilateral ties."
Touhid Hossain is currently in New York as part of the delegation led by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, attending the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
