Pakistan wants to work closely with Bangladesh: Shehbaz's letter to Yunus

Pakistan premier Shehbaz Sharif has said that he looks forward to working closely with Bangladesh Interim government chief adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus in the coming days on all matters of mutual interest, both in bilateral and multilateral domains.

In a letter addressed to Dr. Yunus, PM Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of strengthening regional cooperation, which he believes is crucial for the socio-economic advancement of the people in South Asia.
'We should actively explore ways to enhance regional cooperation, which is vital for the socio-economic development of the people of South Asia,' Shehbaz stated in the letter, which was shared by the Chief Adviser's office on Monday.
The Pakistani Prime Minister expressed a strong desire to cultivate robust bilateral relations with Bangladesh, aiming to serve the interests of both nations' peoples and bring about significant positive changes in their lives.
Shehbaz Sharif also highlighted that Pakistan places great importance on its relationship with Bangladesh, considering it a brotherly Muslim country and a key partner in South Asia.
