9 Bangladeshis featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list

Forbes has unveiled its ninth annual '30 Under 30 Asia' roster, spotlighting 300 dynamic young leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs under 30 who are shaping the landscape of the Asia-Pacific region with their groundbreaking initiatives. 

This year’s cohort spans a diverse array of sectors, encompassing arts, technology, media, finance, and more. Notably, nine individuals hailing from Bangladesh have secured coveted spots on the prestigious list, earning recognition for their remarkable contributions across various industries.
The Bangladeshis who made this year’s list are:
Shehzad Noor Taus Priyo (24) and Motasim Bir Rahman (26) co-founders of Gaze, recognized in the enterprise technology category. Gaze, established in 2018 with operations spanning Singapore and Bangladesh, specializes in AI-powered visual recognition technologies tailored for online transactions.
Mir Sakib (28) founder of Cramstack, acknowledged in the enterprise technology category. Cramstack leverages AI to automate data extraction from unstructured sources, empowering businesses with actionable insights.
Shomy Chowdhury (26) and Rijve Arefin (26) co-founders of Awareness 360, honored in the social impact category. The duo established Awareness 360 to mobilize youth towards initiatives aimed at societal betterment, with a particular focus on environmental initiatives such as handwashing advocacy and water filtration education.
Ahmed Imtiaz Jami (27) founder of Obhizatrik Foundation, recognized in the social impact category. Since its inception in 2010, Obhizatrik Foundation has been dedicated to addressing multifaceted issues including poverty alleviation, education, healthcare, human rights, and environmental conservation.
Rizvana Hredita (28) and Md Zahin Rohan Razeen (22) co-founders of Hydroquo+, acknowledged in the social impact category. Hydroquo+ harnesses AI to enhance water management practices, offering solutions for anomaly detection and water quality analysis since its establishment in 2018.
Morin Talukder (27) co-founder of Pickaboo, recognized in the retail and e-commerce category. Talukder played a pivotal role in establishing Pickaboo as a pioneering online retail platform in Bangladesh, known for its innovative offerings such as installment payment plans, same-day delivery, and a customer membership program.
The inclusion of nine Bangladeshis on this year’s list underscores the burgeoning talent and entrepreneurial spirit within the nation. It marks a significant increase from previous years, with a total of nine individuals recognized collectively from 2016 to 2020. This surge in representation reflects the growing impact of Bangladeshi youth on the regional stage and their commitment to driving positive change across diverse sectors.
