Myanmar security personnel seek refuge in Bangladesh amid escalating conflict
In the midst of the ongoing conflict between Myanmar's junta forces and armed insurgents a total of over 200 individuals, comprising both military personnel and civilians, have sought sanctuary in Bangladesh.
The influx of refugees from Myanmar has persisted into the third day, with 229 people having crossed the border as of Tuesday morning. Among them are members of the Myanmar military and the Border Guard Police, alongside ordinary citizens.
'Efforts are underway to determine the number of people from each group', adeded Shariful Islam.
The escalation of hostilities in Myanmar has prompted a growing number of people to flee the violence, seeking safety and refuge in neighboring Bangladesh.
