Indo-Bangladesh Dialogue: No political issues on agenda
Bangladesh's Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen stated that the forthcoming foreign secretary-level talks between Bangladesh and India won't encompass political matters.
Foreign Minister Momen clarified that the meeting aims to discuss various topics of shared interest, emphasizing that political issues are not on the agenda.
'This is a regular dialogue we engage in with numerous countries. It's a customary procedure,' he further explained.
The upcoming bilateral meeting between Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen and his Indian counterpart Vinay Mohan Kwatra is slated for November 23 or 24.
This marks the second foreign secretary-level meeting between the nations in the current year. The initial meeting took place in Dhaka during February.
During these consultations, both countries typically delve into various critical subjects of mutual concern to foster collaboration across diverse sectors.
