PM Hasina proposes 5 recommendations to halt Israeli aggression against Palestine

Bangladesh's Premier Sheikh Hasina has put forward five crucial recommendations to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine.

She presented these proposals in a recorded speech aired during the 8th Extraordinary Islamic Summit, which commenced on November 9 in Riyadh, convened at the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to address the escalating crisis.
In her first recommendation, Prime Minister Hasina urgently called for an immediate ceasefire to halt the relentless one-sided war imposed by Israel on Palestine. She emphasized the unjust nature of the conflict, stressing that it flagrantly violates human rights and international humanitarian laws. Hasina highlighted the continuous devastation in Gaza, where Israel's merciless actions have resulted in the deaths of thousands, primarily women and children, with hospitals and civilian infrastructure being targeted.
The second recommendation focused on the immediate establishment of a humanitarian corridor. This corridor aims to facilitate the continuous, rapid, and secure delivery of essential supplies, including food, water, medicine, and other life-saving materials, to the trapped residents of war-ravaged Gaza.
Prime Minister Hasina's third recommendation addressed the need to address the atmosphere of terror created by the killing of innocent civilians and the displacement of populations through barbaric means. She emphasized the importance of holding those responsible for such vicious acts accountable to restore a sense of peace to the lives of those in Gaza.
In her fourth recommendation, Sheikh Hasina called for a revisitation of all agreed decisions at the UN, the Arab Peace Initiative, and the Quartet Road Map. She advocated for collective efforts to find an early and lasting solution that would bring permanent peace to the peoples of the region.
The fifth and final suggestion underscored the importance of unity within the Muslim Ummah on the issue of Palestine. Hasina emphasized the enduring denial of the right to self-determination and homeland for the Palestinian people over the past 55 years. She urged collective action and solidarity to support their justified demand, stating that it was time for the international community to stand together in assisting Palestine in realizing its rightful aspirations.
