French President Macron set to visit Bangladesh in September
French President Emmanuel Macron is anticipated to make an official visit to Bangladesh shortly following the G20 Leaders Summit scheduled for the next month.
A diplomatic source has revealed that Bangladesh and France are actively coordinating the details of the visit, with Macron's expected arrival in Dhaka slated for September 11. His visit is anticipated to conclude on September 12.
This forthcoming visit reciprocates the cordial relations between the two nations. Notably, in November 2021, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received an invitation to visit France from the President of the French Republic.
During President Macron's visit to Bangladesh, he is scheduled to engage in substantive discussions with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on various bilateral matters. Additionally, he plans to pay homage to the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, by visiting the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhaka's Dhanmondi area.
Both leaders are currently preparing for their attendance at the G20 Summit, which is set to take place in New Delhi on September 9-10.
