According to a Bangladesh's foreign ministry official who shared information with media, her expected arrival in Dhaka is scheduled for September 4. This visit coincides with preparations being made by Bangladesh and the United States for their forthcoming security dialogue.
Mira Resnick currently supervises the Office of Regional Security and Arms Transfers within the Bureau, a role involving the management of an annual budget exceeding 40 billion US dollar dedicated to government-to-government defense equipment transfers. These transfers encompass programs such as Foreign Military Sales, Third Party Transfers, and Excess Defense Articles.
