Bangladesh offers Nepal use of Payra port

Bangladesh's Premier Sheikh Hasina offered Nepal the use of its newly constructed Payra port during a meeting with her Nepalese counterpart Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

According to Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen, Prime Minister Hasina proposed that Nepal could utilize the newly constructed Payra port. This offer is in addition to the existing accessibility Nepal enjoys to the Chalna and Chittagong ports in Bangladesh.
During the discussion, Prime Minister Hasina also highlighted Bangladesh's efforts in developing the Sayedpur airport, aiming to establish it as a regional hub to enhance connectivity within the region.
The Nepalese Premier expressed admiration for the progress and development achieved by Bangladesh under the successful leadership of Prime Minister Hasina, as conveyed by Foreign Minister Momen.
This move to offer Nepal access to the Payra port reflects Bangladesh's commitment to fostering regional cooperation and strengthening ties with its neighboring countries.
