Sheikh Hasina world s 43rd most powerful woman on Forbes\` list

Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is ranked 43rd on Forbes' list of the 100 most influential women in the world in 2021. The list was released on Tuesday by Forbes_ selecting 100 of the most influential women in politics_ humanitarian service_ business and the media around the world.

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina is in 43rd place in this list. Earlier_ in 2020_ she was ranked 39th in the list of influential women of Forbes.

According to Forbes_ Sheikh Hasina Wajed_ the longest serving prime minister in the history of Bangladesh_ is currently serving her fourth term. She won the fourth term_ which is also her third consecutive term_ after her party_ Bangladesh Awami League_ won 288 of the 300 parliamentary seats.

During what she believes will be her final term_ Hashina plans to focus on issues such as food security and access to education and healthcare. An ongoing struggle for Hasina has been establishing a firm democracy in Bangladesh.

Forbes has been publishing a list of the world's most powerful women every year since 2004. This year's 16th edition of the US magazine features 40 CEOs_ 19 world leaders and an immunologist.
