Helsa Icon Bangladesh to invest $1m in Adamjee EPZ

Helsa Icon Bangladesh Ltd, a collaborative venture between India and Germany, has announced a substantial investment of $1 million to establish a garment accessories manufacturing facility within the premises of the Adamjee Export Processing Zone located in Narayanganj.

According to a statement released by the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza), the company is slated to produce an impressive quantity of 10 million pairs of shoulder pads and 0.75 million pairs of sleeve heads annually.
This strategic investment by Helsa Icon Bangladesh Ltd is expected to generate employment for 126 individuals from Bangladesh, contributing significantly to the local job market and economy, as highlighted in the statement.
The agreement sealing this significant investment was formally signed between Ali Reza Mazid, representing Bepza's investment promotion segment, and Aartee Patil, the managing director of Helsa Icon Bangladesh Ltd. The signing ceremony took place at the Bepza Complex in Dhaka, marking a pivotal moment in the collaboration between the entities involved.
