Israel Hamas war already affecting regional economies: IMF

She shared her observations at a Saudi investor forum, where she highlighted that countries like Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan are already experiencing the economic consequences of this ongoing conflict.
The heightened uncertainty and instability in the region are particularly detrimental to tourism-dependent countries, as they face a decline in tourist inflows.
Additionally, this situation may lead to increased costs for insurance and pose risks of further refugee influx in countries that are already hosting displaced populations.
